$1.1 Million Royal Blue Tourbillion Haute Joaillerie |
At the recently concluded 24th Annual Showboats International Rendezvous, the Swiss luxury watch brand Ulysse Nardin, unveiled several custom made watches, including the $1.1 Million Royal Blue Tourbillion Haute Joaillerie watch, catering to the highest spenders on watches.
Placed in a platinum body with 568 baguette cut diamonds (approximately 33.8 Carat Total Weight), and 234 baguette cut royal blue sapphires (approximately 16.79 Carat Total Weight), the timepiece is as blingy and haute horology as one can get them.

The dial features a unique exposed skeleton design, which plays with royal blue and platinum colored plates to depict the time. The hours and minutes hands are itself rather artistic, looking at their thin handcrafted design. The lower half of the dial, which is platinum shaded, has the branding of the watchmaker in blue enamel, at the 4 and 8 ‘o’ clock positions. The casing on the other hand, has a rather intricate and thin line of royal blue sapphire crystals, something not seen in the strapping of the timepiece.
