Sony Vaio L-Series All-in-One Computer Debuts

Sony has unveiled a new AIO machine today at IFA 2011 in Germany called the VAIO L.
The VAIO L is a 24-inch screen multimedia PC with a 3D screen. The machine can convert 2D movies to 3D on the fly with the touch of a button. The screen is LED backlit and the VAIO L is the first AIO to have a 3D HDMI input on the rear for PS3 games and more. The device also has 3D painting software for making your own 3D doodles.
The LCD screen supports multi-touch control allowing you to use your fingers rather than the mouse or keyboard if you so choose. The 3D tech in the VAIO L does require active shutter glasses to be worn and the 3D transmitter is inside the screen.
The computer will be offered with second generation Intel Core processors, will run 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium, and be crammed with 8GB of RAM. The HDD is a 1TB SATA unit and the resolution of the 3D display is 1920x1080. Graphics for the AIO are via NVIDIA GT 540M with 1GB of RAM. The L also comes with a Blu-ray drive.

Other features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, dual USB 3.0 ports, HDMI output, HDMI input, an HD webcam, and Dolby Home Theater sound. A wireless mouse and keyboard are also included.
The machine will hit Europe in October and other locations later at an undisclosed price.
